Literature Text

Someday,
I want a dead-eyed boy to see me

And find beauty in my pale hands,

See grace in the curves of my veins,

And the universe in the place of my missing soul.

I want his eyes to be brought back to life
By his interest in the new creature he's found.

I want him to find me,
Make me feel new and clean,

And then leave me
Because I've somehow fixed him.

But I can't be fixed.

And then I'll wait for the next dead-eyed boy
To cross my path

So that I can fix him if I can;
If he doesn't truly believe
That he's meant to be broken.
Another quick thing I was thinking about in the car today

Nothin special I guess

Also: sorry for the lack of art. I've been drawing and stuff, but I haven't really had the initiative to go through the process of uploading any of it.
Sorry.

I've heard that you can't truly fix anyone, especially if they've already given up. Nonetheless, great poem.
